Saga Buildings InsuranceWith Saga buildings insurance your home is covered when your home is unoccupied for up to 60 days in a row allowing you to go on an extended holiday safe in the knowledge that your home is fully insured. The Saga buildings insurance product includes up to £2million of legal liability coveras owner of your property, cover for accidental damage to cables and underground pipes, property rebuilding or repair expenses (including architects' and surveyors' fees) and protection for fixtures and fittings including fitted kitchen units. Accidental damage cover can be added to Saga buildings insuranceto cover accidental damage to your property, for example spilling paint on a carpet. Saga Contents InsuranceSaga contents insurance covers your possessions against theft or damage in your home as well as your shed and garage. Cover of up to £50,000 and premiums are based on individual homes and possessions. New for old cover is included as standard (excludes clothing and linen) and your contents are covered even when your house is unoccupied for up to 60 days. Saga contents cover will automatically increase by 10% around Christmas and family weddings. If your keys are lost or stolen you are covered for replacement locks costs of up to £250, Saga contents insurance also includes protection of up to £1,000 for garden property (sun loungers, patio heaters etc.), up to £1,000 for loss of oil or metered water, up to £1,000 for guests' possessions brought into your home during their visit and office contents of up to £5,000 if you work from home (wider homeworking cover is available with the Homeworker Cover additional option).
